Do I need an active Veda membership to use the Media Library?
Yes. An active eligible Veda membership is required to upload and manage media through your Veda Media Library.
Why are there multiple pages in my Media Library?
The Media Library displays your images in pages to keep it easier to browse as your library grows.
Can I upload PDFs, videos, or documents to the Veda Media Library?
No. The Veda Media Library currently accepts image files only: JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF.
Why was my image upload rejected?
An upload may be rejected if the file type is not supported, the individual file is too large, or uploading it would put you over your file-count or storage limit.
Can I use another member’s image in my event or room?
No. Veda’s media tools only allow you to manage and select images that belong to your own account.
Can another member see or use my Media Library images?
No. Your Veda Media Library is tied to your account. Other members cannot manage or select your private media items as their own.
Does deleting an image free up storage space?
Yes. When an unused image is deleted from your Veda Media Library, its file size and file count are removed from your current media usage.
How do I delete an image that is currently in use?
First remove or replace the image everywhere it is being used. Once nothing in Veda is using the image, the delete option will become available.
Why does an image say “In use — deletion is blocked”?
That image is currently connected to another Veda item, such as a room, event, or supported widget. Veda blocks deletion so removing the image does not break something that is still using it.
Do widget images count toward my media storage?
Yes. When a Veda widget stores an uploaded image in your Media Library, that image counts toward your file and storage totals.
