Yes. An active eligible Veda membership is required to create, update, and use saved Veda Widgets.
What happens to an embedded widget if I delete the saved widget?
The old embed will no longer display the widget. Instead, it will show a message that the Veda Virtual widget is no longer available.
Does deleting a widget free up a widget spot?
Yes. Deleting a saved widget reduces your saved widget count and frees that spot for another widget.
Can I delete a saved widget?
Yes. Go to My Widgets and select Delete next to the widget you no longer need.
What are Veda Widgets?
Veda Widgets are interactive tools you can create, customize, save, and embed inside your virtual spaces. Different widget types are designed for different jobs, such as audio, message boards, room information, and other interactive features.
Can I resize a widget after I embed it?
Yes. Veda widget embed code is designed to fill the space where you place it, so you can size the embed within your virtual room or other supported platform without creating a new widget.
How do I get the embed code for a widget?
Go to My Widgets and select Copy Code next to the saved widget. Paste that code into a location that accepts iframe embeds.
Do I need to replace the embed code after editing a widget?
No. Your saved widget keeps the same embed code when you edit it. Changes you save are reflected in the widget anywhere that code is already embedded.
How do I edit a saved widget?
Go to My Widgets and select Edit next to the widget. This takes you back to that widget’s generator with your saved settings loaded.
Does editing a widget use another widget spot?
No. Editing an existing saved widget updates that widget and does not use another widget spot.
