Can I use the same widget embed in more than one place?
Yes. You can use the same saved widget embed code in more than one supported location. Because each embed points to the same saved widget, saved edits will be reflected everywhere that code is used.
Can another member edit my saved widgets?
No. Saved widgets belong to the member who created them. Other members cannot edit or delete your saved widgets.
Can I customize a widget differently from my default styles?
Yes. The defaults are only a starting point. Each widget generator can provide its own customization options, and you can change those settings for that individual widget before saving it.
Will changing my Default Widget Styles change widgets I already saved?
No. Default Widget Styles are used when you create new widgets. Changing your defaults does not automatically change widgets you already saved.
Can I choose a default font for my widgets?
Yes. You can choose a default font in Widget Settings. Compatible new widgets will start with that font selected.
Can I enter an HTML color code for my widget colors?
Yes. Widget Settings lets you choose a color visually or enter its HTML hex color code.
What widget colors can I set as defaults?
You can set default Primary, Secondary, Text, Accent, and Button Text colors. These give compatible widgets a consistent starting style when you create them.
Where do I change my Default Widget Styles?
Open My Widgets and select Widget Settings. You can set your default colors and font there.
What are Default Widget Styles?
Default Widget Styles let you choose colors and a font that Veda can use as the starting style when you create new widgets.
What happens to my embedded widgets if my membership is no longer active?
Your saved widget records are not automatically deleted, but the embeds will stop displaying the working widget while your Veda membership is inactive.
