Can my event have more than one category?
Yes. Choose one primary category and, if needed, one different second category.
Will visitors see the event in their own timezone?
Yes. Veda is designed to show event times in the visitor’s local timezone so people do not have to calculate the time difference themselves.
What event types can I create?
Events can be set as Free, Paid, or Members Only. The information you provide for access depends on which type you choose.
What do I need for a free event?
Free events use one of your own published Veda Rooms. Choose the room where the event will take place when creating the event.
Can I use someone else’s Veda Room for my free event?
No. Free events must be connected to one of your own published Veda Rooms.
What do I need for a paid event?
Paid events require a registration or payment link. Visitors use that link to register or purchase access to the event.
What do I need for a members-only event?
Members-only events require the membership name and the access link members should use.
Can I add a featured image to my event?
Yes. You can choose an event featured image from your Veda Media Library.
Can I use any image in my Veda Media Library for an event?
You can choose images that belong to your own Veda Media Library. You cannot select another member’s media.
