I’m Grim. Tech gremlin by trade, Elementor wizard by choice. I help creative folks (like you) build beautiful websites without falling into a tech nightmare.
I’ve made all the mistakes so you don’t have to — and now I teach other designers how to skip the tech headaches, dodge the drama, and actually enjoy the process. If you’ve got good taste but bad plugin luck, you’re in the right place.
Who am I, really?
I specialize in Elementor, WordPress multi-sites, and the plugin stack I trust to keep things running smooth. I stay on top of changes so you don’t have to — whether that’s fixing a form that won’t submit, cleaning up a broken layout, or helping you choose the right tools for your site. You don’t have to be techy — you just need someone who is.
I’ve been building online since MySpace layouts were all the rage, and over the years I’ve taught myself everything from hand-coding HTML to running full WordPress setups. These days, I run Grim’s TechBar, where I help designers, DIYers, and service-based business owners make sense of Elementor, build smart websites, and actually enjoy running their site.
I created the Inner Circle so people like you don’t have to figure it all out alone. It’s the place to get real answers, support that makes sense, and access to virtual tools that don’t suck. Whether you’re working on your own site or wrangling client work, I’m here to help.
And just to keep it real — yes, I smoke. I probably will be when you catch me live. If secondhand smoke over video offends you, you’ve been warned (but I promise the tech advice is worth it).
Why “Grim”?
People ask me all the time if that’s my real name — it’s not. My real name is April Long, but “Grim” has been my nickname for decades. It came from the Bugs Bunny cartoon Falling Hare, where a mischievous little gremlin causes chaos for a fighter pilot. That vibe? Definitely me. Back in the day, I tried using “Grimlin” online but — surprise — it was taken. So I shortened it to Grim, and it stuck. You can thank the internet for the spelling.
So if you’re wondering why a grown woman is called Grim… now you know.
Need a hand?
Got something you’re stuck on right now? A glitchy site, a confusing client request, or just too many tabs open in your brain? I might be the answer you didn’t know you were looking for.
Feel free to poke around the public rooms — you might just catch me live. And if not, there’s plenty here to get you moving in the right direction.
